Postcard features Ty Cobb and is one of his earliest produced cards. Card is in wonderful shape considering it was postally used in 1908. Light pencil writing on back with stamp and postal cancellation is why this item graded so low. Easily an instance where they say “buy the card, not the holder” as it looks like a mid-grade or higher card. Very nice eye-appeal despite minor flaws. Most issues produced in 1907 are considered rookie cards for Cobb, predates his 1909 T206 by 2 years. Ty was the one of baseball’s greatest players. Ty was one of the five original Baseball Hall of Fame inductees with Babe Ruth, Honus Wagner, Christy Mathewson and Walter Johnson.
